Many things are expected of a feared prosecutor, but that he will become a constantly smiling and ever-affable person is not usually one of them.

Enter Rudy Giuliani, now a politician so seasoned that recently he has begun to smile as readily as a plastic Santa Claus. In fact, he has become the most consistently smiley candidate on the campaign trail.

Apparently, one of his advisors noticed his frequent frets and scowls and advised him of the timeless American tradition, “Smile when you say that, partner.”

And Rudy apparently has taken the advice – enough of a surprising feat to merit him our estimable title of Clever Monkey Of The Month.
