Earth Warmest in 2,000 years. Heating Bills May Cool Down.

The National Academy of Sciences melted a lot of ice in the jam that’s preventing action to counter global warming, announcing that the earth is now hotter than it’s been for two millennia while noting that “human activities are responsible for much of the recent warming.”

The Bush administration continues to maintain that the threat from global warming isn’t extreme enough for the U. S. to mandate new pollution controls, which the White House states would cost about five million Americans their jobs.

While that may send your temperature rising, look on the bright side. At least, your winter heating bills may chill out.
